Helping Hands Gives Hope for the Holidays
Our Helping Hands program allows our neighbors in need to receive food and gifts for their families during the holidays that they may otherwise be unable to afford. The program is open for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Last year we supported 82 families for Thanksgiving, 95 families for Christmas, and 103 families for Easter. This year, we already have 109 families sign up for assistance!
Our greatest needs for Helping Hands are grocery and gift cards from Jubilee, Food Lion, and Weis in increments of $25.
Your donation will help us purchase the cards we need to support our eligible families, as well as small items for children's Easter baskets. If you would prefer to donate actual gift cards in $25 increments to the places listed, please contact Tina at 301.447.6102 x13.
